Our horse ranch is located near Atlanta in Covington, Georgia. We offer scenic horseback riding by the beautiful Alcovy River for beginners, intermediate, and advanced horse riders.
Our family of horses, ponies, critters, and sponsors expose horsemanship skills to numerous non-profit organizations, schools, boy scouts and girl scouts, home schoolers, children's groups, churches, and individuals near Atlanta, Georgia. Our horses work for their room and board and are prepared to take you on a fabulous journey at a moment's notice. All of our horses can walk, trot, and canter.
We are also a non-profit organization that has rescued 8 horses, 8 ponies, and several dogs. We have given them a good permanent home, given them training, and given them a great place to work. While we are open to the public, we also work with abused children to help horses that had owner problems help children with parent problems.
Our horses support themselves by providing an awesome riding experience for members of the community. Adopt-A-Horse, Inc., a non-profit organization located in Covington, Georgia, was founded by Dennis Horion in August 2003.
