Volunteers have been working on an area for social interaction without the horses. Once this project is finished, we expect to have a space dedicated to outdoor barbecues, evening bonfires, and a safe area to secure our dogs out of the reach of curious horses.
We curently need volunteers to help us upgrade our fence lines. Initially, we installed electric fencing. Over the years, We have had difficulty keeping the wires hot. We have replaced 70% of our electric wire with barbless wire. We are going to supplement our barbless wire with electric wire to keep our horses secure. We are asking for assistance with the fence line project.
Our ponies were released from their enclosure to enjoy some running time with the herd. Within one hour, Sunshine took out a section of fencing and ran around the neighborhood having a grand old time. Our next project is to reexamine every fence line to give the small ponies more secure areas to party.
